The Way of Qi Gong Living Healthier, Fitter and Happier!
I have been practising Qi Gong for over 20 years now. But it has been in my life for as long as I can remember although I did not realise it. Qi Gong has many faces and it does not have to be sophisticated or complicated. It can be but it doesn’t need to be.
Qi Gong has been with me all my life and I am very grateful for that. It is however only in the last two decades that I have consciously been practising Qi Gong. In its most simple application Qi Gong is just breathing without thinking and I have done many things without thinking when I was younger 🙂 .
Every action you take, every move you make that is conscious is a Qi Gong movement and a sort of meditation. When you brush your teeth, when you take a shower, when you get dressed and you are 100% focused on what you do, you are doing a Qi Gong exercise. Qi Gong is always in your life whether you know it and are aware of it or not.
Sometimes Qi Gong or Qi is portrayed as something mystical and only for old Masters that have practiced for many, many years. But this is absolutely not true. Qi Gong is for everyone and can be practiced by everyone regardless of age or physical capacities. It is true that there are different levels of Qi Gong and that by practising for many years you can become very capable in working with energy. But for most people Qi Gong is a way to preserve or heal their own health.
Qi Gong is beneficial for everyone and that is our goal in spreading The Way of Qi Gong. It is so important for your health that we try to promote this ancient Chinese Healing Art as much as we can.
With daily practice you can live healthier, fitter and happier and the best news is there’s a Qi Gong exercise or exercises for everyone.
